**This is my first attempt at doing a Shared Topic post for BlogAzeroth!**
I’ve played my fair share of classes. I started with a Warlock (up until SSC/TK), switched to a Priest (until early ICC), and now my Shaman. I think I can safely say that each of my class changes was about something that I wanted but couldn’t get with my current class. It’s that one thing that drives some of us as players. We want that high item level, we want that awesome shield. With transmogrification, a lot of people want that certain look to their gear set. Remember how upset people (rightfully) are that they can’t transmog a legendary? The point is, we all want stuff in game. A lot of it is attainable, some of it is not. Thus, I present to you some things that I want but probably will never have. Yes, my sadness will accompany the list.

Boy, I picked one helluva time to try to rebuild Team Sport! It’s still an incredibly exciting process, but it’s slow-moving. Fleshing out a new raid roster is not something that really should be done during the pre-expansion lull. Yes, folks, in case you hadn’t noticed, we’re in the pre-expansion lull. That nether-region before any new expansion comes out, remember? It definitely happened at the end of Wrath, and it’s happening again here. We’ve got new players, and even brand-new raiders. But wait, there’s more!

WHY!?!!? Seriously. Why is it so hard for me to blog?
Okay, I don’t want to let on to the idea that I don’t feel confident in my writing. I actually think I’m a pretty decent writer. Hell, a paper I wrote for a graduate class that’s nominated for publication in the school’s yearly academic journal. I like the eloquence and sophistication of language. I also love how succinct and efficient more colloquial language can be. Thus, my problem isn’t with actually writing something.
My problem seems to be with getting started and motivated…

Yes, I did it. I’m back. I decided that my energies were better served in Azeroth than promoting the Galactic Empire. Funny enough, it was a really tough decision. I was really enjoying my SWTOR guild, Respected and Despised. They’re still an awesome group of people. My account is still active, but I haven’t even logged in since I told them that I was going on “hiatus”. I’ll go into my issues with SWTOR in a later post. As of today, though, Team Sport is back in business! More after the jump…

It’s definitely that time of year for everyone to make their New Year’s resolutions and make the “attempt” to keep them. I read somewhere that you need to do something for five weeks in order to make it habit. So, regardless of what you’re trying to do, stick with it for at least that long if you plan to make it a part of your routine!

One simple answer: No.
Through my WoW experience, I’ve enjoyed Brigwyn’s place in the community. He’s had some pretty interesting things to say, and I respect the hell out of him. However, this caught my eye via Twitter:
A very interesting thread on the official #SWTOR forums. Seems I’m not alone in feeling Single Player RPG w/ Coop play

Wouldn’t it be apropos for me to make this post into something about the Galactic Empire annihilating Azeroth. The Death Star killed Deathwing! (See what I did there?) I’ve seen so many people looking to call each new MMO on the market the “WoW killer”. I think maybe at some point I shared that mindset, but then I stepped back and looked at what was going on. Everyone is going to have their “niche”. Every MMO out there has it’s own fanbase…even Star Wars Galaxies did until the end. Sure, some have a more cult following than the mainstream ones, but the point remains the same: to each his/her own.
Oh god…what did I get myself into this time?

You gotta give credit where credit is due, right? Pozo, the co-GM of my guild Respected and Despised, put together a little primer for all of us. It’s things for MMO veterans, as well as rookies. I’ve tweaked it a little bit, but it’s a great starting point! Without further ado…hit the jump for more!
